The minimum standard necessary to enter MDS course in Dental College & Hospital, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune is BDS degree with qualifying marks from any recognized institution. The candidates should have done one-year rotatory compulsory internship and should have a valid score card for NEET MDS as per the Rule of Dental Council of India.

A total of 100 seats are available for BDS course at SRM Dental College Kattankulathur. Candidates without original certificate/documents shall not be allowed to take admission. Aspirants who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/ University and come for admission with a certificate stating that "their original certificates are deposited with the Institute /College/ University" will not be allowed to take admission Seat Matrix.

There is intense competition for admission to the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), Delhi, particularly for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. The NEET-UG cutoff for general category candidates normally ranges from 600 to 650 marks, though it may change a little every year based on things like seat availability and the volume of applications. In general, the threshold is lower for reserved categories (OBC, SC, and ST). Being one of the best dental schools in India, MAIDS has one of the highest acceptance rates for dentistry programs.

The only professional Dental programme that is frequently chosen in India is BDS. Cadidates who are interested in becoming Dentists at either private or public hospitals must complete it. The only recognised professional Dental course in India is the 5-year undergraduate BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) programme.

The application period for admission to the Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, Bharati Vidyapeeth varies by program. For the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), the application window was open from 1st July to 18th August 2024. For the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, the application period ran from 9th February to 20th August 2024

Various Bachelor of dental surgery completed from an institute recognised by dental counselling of India DCI a minimum are great score of 55% general 45% SC and ST at the level of graduation there are mainly to entrance exams conducted by colleges for granding admissions to students in the MDS periodontology courses.
However summit Street provide direct admissions on the basis of candidates marks in graduation. The Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital has provided diverse type of scholarships to MDS students including Periodontology students. When more specific information is sought on MDS in Periodontology scholarships, a few are available but only for the “College” managed financial aid considering the grades of the students. Most of the time with these scholarships, candidates who have done the bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) should have passed with a mean grade of 55% for the general categories and above 45% for the SC/ST categories, get these scholarships. In order to secure admission to Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital, students are required to pass a selection index, the most crucial of which is the NEET scores for both BDS and MDS programs.
