Madras Christian College does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to its Bachelor of Arts in Journalism program. Admissions are based on merit, and candidates should have a minimum score of 50% marks in class 12th. As the college offers only one course i.e. B.A. The admission to the same is on class 12th merit. Thus, no entrance exams.

Life at department of journalism, Madras Christian College could be rewarding and refreshing to students. Campus has experienced faculty and creates environment for curious learning. The  Media Centre at the college has shooting rooms for photography and videography, as well as an edit suite.
