MDU Rohtak offers two-year LLM through Department of Law and affiliated colleges. Below is the eligibility criteria for LLM:

Aspirants need to complete LLB (Professional) with a minimum of 50% aggregate or any other examination recognised by MD University Rohtak as equivalent thereto to apply for LLM programme.

Eligibility for LLM offered by MDU Affiliated Colleges

Candidates must have passed LLB or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto by MDU Rohtak with a minimum of 50% aggregate (47.50% marks for SC/ ST/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only).

 The student intake for the BA LLB (Hons) programme at Department of Law, MDU is 120.

There are three specialisations offered for LLM including, Criminal Law Group, Corporate Law Group and Constitutional Law Group.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor/ Master degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate (42.75% marks for SC /ST /Blind /Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) or any other examination recognised by MDU, Rohtak as equivalent thereto.

Admissions to the Department of Law, MDU for different courses is both merit and entrance-based. Admission for most of the courses is based on the marks obtained in MDU Common Entrance Exam (MDUCEE).

As per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 50 LLM students graduated in 2022. Out of these, 40 were successfully placed. In 2021, the number of LLM students placed was the same as in 2022. The total strength and the number of LLM students placed from Department of Law MDU placements 2020 to 2022 are presented below:

Out of 57 LLB graduates 40 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier, 28 out of 42 LLB students were placed in 2021. Looking at the past three years' data, the number of LLB students placed has been fluctuating. Further, the median package has declined year-on-year from 2020 to 2022.
