Hello, National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFT) provides few scholarship programs for the aspiring students. There are two kinds of scholarships provided to students in NIFT. One is Sarthak NIFT Financial Assistance Scheme. This is for the students having parental income under a certain slab. For instance, those having parental income around in the range of 1.5 LPA to 2.5 LPA then assistant will be provided up to 75% of the tuition fees. Other one is, UDAAN means cum merit scheme for foreign studies. Under this scheme, a limited number of students are selected and they will receive sponsorship for the approved course fees for a period. Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Yes, you can go for Diploma after your 10th. Basically admission to Diploma courses are done after completion of 10th. Even if you have gap, you are eligible. However it depends on the college you are applying for. Few college sometimes do not accept students with gap year. But most of the colleges accept.
