The last date to apply for DBUU BA admission varies yearly, depending on the vacant seats. The university has not specified a last date to apply for admission. Ideally, aspirants must submit an application soon after their Class 12 results are declared to avoid missing a deadline. This is because the university considers the Class 12 merit of applicants while shortlisting them for admission.

DBUU BA admissions 2025 are yet to begin. However, the university is currently accepting applications for direct admissions for the academic year 2024-25. The last date to apply has not been revealed by the university yet. Interested candidates can visit the university's official website to submit an online application. DBUU has over 190 seats for BA. These seats are distributed over the BA speciliations offered at the university. DBUU BA admissions are primarily merit-based. Candidates are shortlisted for admission based on their merit in Class 12/equivalent exam, subject to the fulfilment of the preset eligibility criteria. DBUU tuition fees for BA ranges between INR 1.8 Lacs and INR 2.8 lakh. The exact amount depends on the choice of specialisation and duration of the programme. In addition to the tuition fees, candidates are required to submit a one-time fee of INR 10,000 and an exam fee of INR 4,500 per semester. DBUU has specified the eligibility criteria that the applicants must fulfil in order to secure BA admission at the university. To be eligible to pursue a BA at DBUU, applicants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised educational board in any stream. They must have scored at least 40% in Class 12/equivalent examination. However, to pursue BA (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communications, applicants must have scored a minimum of 45% in Class 12/equivalent examination.
