Comparing Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) to other Indian law schools, it is reasonably priced. Like other National Law Universities, its tuition is somewhat on the pricier side. The B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme fees cover tuition, living expenses, and other related expenditures. Even though it is less expensive than private law schools, many families still have to make a sizable financial commitment. For those who meet the requirements, scholarships and financial aid programs can be used to lessen some of the costs involved with attending DNLU.

The Common Law Admission Test is the main method of admission to Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme (CLAT). Like the majority of National Law Universities (NLUs) in India, DNLU does not provide direct admissions or a different path for admission in the absence of the CLAT. As a result, in order to be considered for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme at DNLU, prospective students must take the competitive and standardised CLAT exam and do well on it.

Founded in 2018, Jabalpur's Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) is a relatively new law school. It is currently not ranked among India's best legal schools, which are usually older establishments such as NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, and so on. Still, DNLU is beginning to make a name for itself in the legal education scene and is becoming known for its academic setting. Future rankings will be determined by a variety of measures, including research production, student success, teacher quality, and infrastructural growth.
