Dibrugarh University Entrance Exam

Dibrugarh University offers admission to courses based on entrance and requires for candidates to secure valid scores in the accepted entrance exams. The University offers courses such as BSc, BTech, BPharma, BEd, MSc, MBA and many more in full-time and distant mode.

Admission to majority of UG level courses require for candidates to secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 and previous entrance examination. Whereas, for admission to PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in graduation. Apart from this, the University accepts valid scores of entrance exams such as JEE Main, DUEE, MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, GATE, NEET PG and others. 

Dibrugarh University administers the DUPGET entrance examination every year for admission into various postgraduate programmes, such as MA, MSc, MCom, and other PG courses. The exam consists of objective-type questions, segregated into two sections - General Knowledge and English Language, and subject-specific questions based on the chosen course. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online by paying the required application fee, which may vary. After the examination, a merit list of successful candidates is published, and those who are shortlisted are invited for counselling and admission into their respective PG courses.
