Hi, it can be observed that pursuing Dietics and Nutrition in Hyderabad can be quite inexpensive as most of the colleges have an average tuition fee of less than INR 1 lakh.

There are 18 best Dietics & Nutrition colleges in Hyderabad of which 10+ colleges are owned privately,  1 is owned by the government and 1 is owned by semi government institutions. Admissions to most Dietics and Nutrition colleges in Hyderabad are done on merit basis. Malla Reddy University, St. Francis College for Women, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, St. Ann's College for Women, New Science Degree College and K.V. Ranga Reddy Degree College for Women are the top Dietics & Nutrition colleges in Hyderabad.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) if you have a B.Sc. in Home Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from Delhi University. In order to be eligible for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or assistant professor position in an Indian university or institution, applicants must pass the UGC NET eligibility exam. Generally speaking, one must meet the qualifying requirements for UGC NET by earning a Master's degree in a related field from an accredited university. No you can not do B.Sc Nutrition and dietetics on the basis of 12th Commerce. this course required 10+2 with PCM/ Biology/ Biotechnology etc.

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics for Symbiosis Institute of Health Science, Pune is given below for an idea:

  • Eligibility: Graduate in life science/ home science/ health Science and any other biological sciences from recognised University with minimum 50% of marks.

So, a B.Com graduate is not eligible for this program.
