Hi,
Well, it is not legal to study a regular degree along with another degree through distance education, as only one degree will be considered at a time, when you go for a job interview. But, you can do it, if you want to. It is not a crime. There are many people who do this. You can just show one degree at a time which you require the most at that job.

As you are already doing the Bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, you shall just need to complete this and be eligible for Mass Comm- Master degree.
A Bachelor Degree, in any stream, is sufficient for a Master Degree in Journalism and Mass Comm.
And for Distance Education, it shall be quite easy as well.
please confirm from the Malaysian institute about the validity and acceptance in India of the Bachelors degree you are doing.
