As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that DIT Deradun alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 37% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 15% and 12% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors. The detailed sector-wise alumni placement record is shown below:

A total of 198 companies visited the campus in 2024 whereas in 2023 and 2022, the number was 270 and 201.

DIT University has released the mean package for the year 2024. The overall mean package in 2024 was 5.76 LPA. Also, the mean package recorded during SOET, SOC, School of Management and School of Pharmacy was 4.2 LPA, 6.26 LPA, 4.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA.

The highest package offered during DIT University placements 2024 stood at INR 44 LPA. Earlier, in 2023, the highest package offered was 58 LPA.

DIT University Dehradun offers good placement to its students. As per the report 2024, the overall mean and median package offered was 5.76 LPA and 5.16 LPA. The highest package was 44 LPA. The overall placement rate recorded was 64.18%.

As per the School of Computing placement report, the placement rate recorded for the School was 62.3%. The highest and median package offered was 44 LPA and 6 LPA in 2024. 110 companies visited the campus as well.
