Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50 % aggregate from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges)
B. Tech (CSE) Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics (Minimum 50 % marks) from a recognized Board of Secondary Education. (45 % for SC/ST from Uttarakhand).

Doon University has an Anti-Ragging Cell. Hence, the freshers will never meet with this problem while studying in this college. The college premises has strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.

Doon University is moderately costly if we see other factors side by side. The B.Tech fees at this University is around INR 3.2 Lacs and the MBA fees is also around INR 1 lakh- 3 lakh. It can be said that the fees in not too much expensive but it is expensive. Other colleges charge less fees than this as offer better ROI than this university. The median package offered is INR 5 LPA- INR 6 LPA. Seeing the return on fees invested, it's okay.

As per the official website of the university, Doon University has released its Entrance test date. The entrance exam for UG admissions was conducted on 15 Jun, 2024. The entrance test was conducted by the Doon University itself. It contained two sections with MCQs.

Yes, Doon University BSc seats are subject to the reservation policy followed by the University. The policy says, 50% of the total seats in a programme shall be filled on an India basis. The rest 50% of seats are reserved for students from Uttarakhand as per the policy of the State Government. Refer to the following table to know category-wise seat reservations:
