Hi.Admission in various academic programmes in Doon University is based on marks obtained in the University Entrance Test. All applicants, including applicants belonging to reserved category, are Required to appear in the Entrance Test. If the received applications for the entrance test will be less than the total intake in any course/ programme the entrance test shall not be conducted in that particular course/ programme and admission will be given on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam.For detail imformation you can see the University website.

Doon University usually has a limited number of seats for B.A. (Hons.) in Spanish, and a Rank of 40 is generally safe if you belong to the General category, and even better if you fall under OBC/SC/ST categories since category-wise reservation is applied. Kumaun University offers a total number of 240 seats. On the other hand, Doon University offers 60 seats for the MBA course. The reason for this difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University offers MBA seats through its Management department and constituent campuses. Further, Doon University only offers MBA seats through the university's campus.
