Dr. CV Raman University (CVRU) in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh is considered one of the best universities in the state. It offers courses in science, commerce, management, and MBA. CV Raman Global University's B.Tech programme selection process is based on merit lists created by the institute. The merit lists are based on the marks scored by candidates in the JEE Main 2023 exam.
The central counseling process for B.Tech admission is administered by the Odisha JEE. Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling by Odisha JEE (OJEE) for the final selection.

C.V. Raman Global University requires a minimum of 45% in 10+2 for B.Tech admission. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 40%.
Other eligibility criteria include:
Passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from any recognised board of education
Scoring at least 50% in 10+2 examinations.
