Therefore, candidates can be shortlisted for the course based on their performance in the entrance exam or merit. For merit-based admission, the university takes the candidates' achieved scores in their bachelor's degree.

The essential requirement to get admission into the MBA course at Dr. C.V. Raman University Bihar is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 45% for reserved category candidates. Moreover, the selection process is based on merit, and the university might consider the scores of some management entrance exam to get admission into the MBA. Therefore, CAT can be considered for admission to the MBA course. However, it is not compulsory to have CAT scores for DVRU Bihar MBA admission.

- Application Forms received after the last date
- Those received without requisite fee
- Paying off the requisite fee through Demand Draft with lesser amount
- Demand Draft of requisite fee not drawn in favor of DR. C.V. RAMAN UNIVERSITY, payable at Imadpur, Vaishali.
