Candidates who appear for the bachelor's degree final exam by June 30 of the admission year can also apply provided they fulfil other requirements also.

The minimum qualification required to apply at DY Patil B School Pune is graduation with at least 50% aggregate. Hence, aspirants with 60% aggregate in graduation are eligible to apply for preferred PGDM specialisations. Candidates who appear for the Bachelor's degree final exam and fulfill all requirements are also eligible.

Dr. D.Y. Patil B School Pune does not offer direct admission. Applicants have to submit a valid score in any of the accepted national-level Management entrance exam for admission. Candidates are selected based on their entrance exam score at the first level. They also need to perform well in group discussion and personal interview round for admission.

Dr. D.Y. Patil B School Pune admissions are entrance-based. The school considers scores in national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. for admission to PGDM programme. Once selected, candidates are further called for group discussion and personal interview round. The final selection is based on academic performance, entrance exam score and GDPI score of the candidates.

The best course offered at the Dr. D.Y. Patil B School is the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course. Many top organisations like Bajaj, Deloitte, Cipla, Lupin, Cavin Kare, MarketsandMarkets, etc. visit the college for placement. The highest package offered till now is 35 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. All faculty members are well-educated. Most of them hold experience of more than 5 years.
