It all depends upon the interest. Obviously, you will be studying the subjects of economics in BBA as well. But, BBA is purely business administration. If you want to study economics, then why don't you go for B.Sc. Economics? Think once and then take decision.

For admission to M.Com Program, students must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
Minimum 50% marks at the level of graduation
Certain universities also admit students with a B.A. Economics (Hons.) degree.
Students who have passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.F.I.A. and B.B.E. with at least 60% marks can also apply.

Maths is compulsory in class 12th for taking admission for BA Economics in DU. School of open Learning through DU provides such a course through correspondence. You should check that too, and see if it fits your requirement.

General eligibility for M.A. Economics is as below:
B.A. (Hons) in Economics subject
A minimum aggregate score of 50% at the level of graduation. The eligibility criteria may differ from college to college where for some universities, admission procedure is entrance exam. For some it is Merit based. As in, Delhi University eligibility for merit-based admissions is aggregate 50% in B.A. (Hons) Economics done from DU only.
