I have always said that the cut-off can vary every year because every year, there's a different lot which appears for the exam. 70-75% right questions attempted out of 100, will do the trick for general category.

After clearing the UGC NET Exam you get work in various fields.
Work as a lecturer and Professor in the Colleges and Universities. Write the Book Editor and Author in the various fields
Work in the Research Field related to the Subject
Guide students to prepare for the NET Exam. Work as Project manager in the relevant field.
