Candidate must have completed BA (Hons)/BA/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Sc under at least 10+2+3 pattern with 50%.
Admission Process:
Admission is done through counselling based on the rank obtained in Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU-PET) conducted by the university.

Eligibility for MA Economics is:
Interested aspirants for Economics degree must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
BA (Hons) in Economics subject a minimum aggregate score of 50% at the level of graduation.
Although, the eligibility criteria may differ for entrance exam procedure and merit-based admission process. As in Delhi University, the eligibility for merit-based admissions is aggregate 50% in BA (Hons) Economics done from DU only.
