You are eligible to do Diploma in civil engineering based if you have completed class 10th (subject to meeting the age eligibility criteria, if any, set by Pune Government Polytechnic). You are overqualified to do Diploma and may get frustrated during Diploma studies. You must evaluate your decision multiple times before enrolling in Diploma in engineering.

Based on those subjects you had you are not eligible for an IT Course. Always check admission requirements before applying. Look for courses in Humanities and you will get through.

Yes, you must have maths in HSC to do economics (Hons). However, some private colleges in India offer this course to students who didn't opt for maths in HSC.
