The difference between economics and business economics is that economics deals with the whole economy including business, state, country and the world, and all aspects of economy i.e. Micro and Macroeconomics. On the other side, business economics deals with particular business or industry. It doesn't consider state or country or other industry which are not related to its business.

Though you can apply before you clear your compartment, but admissions are also on merit basis so chances are tricky with compartments if your overall percentage is not high.

Both are same. You are going to give basic priority to economics only. It depends on your area of interest. If you like science, you can go with B.sc Eco and if you like arts, you can go for BA Economics.
