Well, Diabetology and Endocrinology are not the same but are similar. The primary concern for Diabetology is the treatment, diagnosis, and management of diabetes. On the other hand, Endocrinology is a more general branch of medicine. This field deals with all glands producing hormones and disorders in the entire body system.
Thus, the only main difference is that any specialist in Diabetology and Endocrinology is able to treat diabetes, but the specialist of Endocrinology can deal with more complicated problems.
