No, candidates willing to take admission to the BTech programme of SRHU are not required to take any entrance exam. The university's BTech admission is merit-based. The university releases a merit list based on the applicant's merit in Class 12. However, candidates with a valid JEE score are given due weightage.

Yes, SRHU provides merit-based scholarships to the deserving BTech students. This scholarship is provided in the form of fee waiver on the tuition fee. Depending upon their merit, applicants can get a tuition fee waiver of upto 100%. The university also offers a merit-cum-means scholarship to needy and deserving students. Yes, SRHU Dehradun offers a full time BTech programme. The programme is offered in the stream of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). In addition to the BTech in CSE, the university offers BTech (Hons) in CSE in three specialisations. These specialisations are Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Data Science & Machine Learning.The duration of the regular programme is four years. The university also allows lateral entry to the third semester of all the BTech specialisations. The duration of lateral entry programmes is three years.
