No, you can't take admission at SVNIT, based on GUJCET score. For undergraduate courses, SVNIT admissions are through JEE Main and JoSAA counseling.

Admission Criteria: An applicant with a full-time regular Undergraduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60 percent marks or 6.5 CGPA for General, Gen-EWS, and OBC-NCL category and 55 percent or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST category is eligible.

Mechanical Engineering course duration in India for UG courses is usually 4 years. The course is segregated into 8 semesters, where each semester is for 6 months duration. The course covers a wide range of topics, including Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, Manufacturing, and Automation.

For PG courses, the duration is 2 years. You can also go for a diploma in Mechanical Engg. after Class 10 that is 3 years long. Further, a PhD in Mechanical Engg. can be studied for research purposes, which is 3 to 6 years long.
