According to the mentors and topper's it is recommended to attempt questions during VITEEE exam in the following manner -

  • English and aptitude section - 15 mins

  • Chemistry - 30 mins

  • Physics - 45 mins

  • Maths/Biology - 60 mins

Not entirely, the core topics remain the same. VITEEE has 10 aptitude questions, and English has 5 questions. The physics, chemistry and maths questions are mostly formula-based and less tricky than JEE Main.

No, physical and virtual calculators are not allowed in VITEEE. Students have to attempt all questions manually. They will be provided rough sheets to do calculation.

The introduction of negative marking in VITEEE exam pattern for the first time is the most significant change made this year. Now, for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. While each correct answer carry 4 marks. So, now with negative marking implemented, blind guessing can be risky.
