For most private nursing colleges in Patna, admission is based directly on Class 12 marks without any entrance exam. However, for government nursing colleges and seats, Bihar may conduct a state-level entrance or merit-based selection through AKU or the state health department. Some central institutions in Patna like AIIMS Patna have their own nursing entrance exams for B.Sc Nursing.

No, there are no direct merit-based admissions by only using Class 12 board marks for major BTech colleges. To get admission to Bihar BTech colleges, you must appear for entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level entrance exams like BCECE.

The OJEE exam is primarily for Lateral Entry (joining directly in the 2nd year). However, a "Special OJEE" is sometimes conducted to fill vacant seats in private colleges after the main counseling is over.
