As per the eligibility criteria described by official guidelines from NIELIT Ranchi, there aren't any external entrance exams conducted that could suffice the criteria for addmission to certificate courses.

The general criteria for admission is 10+2 and some basic computer knowledge. These short-term certificate courses are meant to get the candidates acquainted with IT skills. Admission to these courses is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For BTech, MTech, MBA, and MPhil courses, the final selection is based on the score obtained in the entrance exam, followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
