Admission to the MBA programme in dual specialisations are currently ongoing at Assam Down Town University (ADTU). Firstly, a candidate has to clear the general eligibility criteria of scoring 50 percent in graduation. Also, you can opt to take the ADTU CST (Common Scholarship Test). Alternatively, ADTU also welcomes candidates based on their undergraduate performance, a good CGPA or Merit scores obtained.

The difference between the two is that while the GATE CCMT cutoff is prepared by the exam conducting authority, which is IIT Bombay for admissions to various institutions through GATE score, the IIEST Shibpur M.Tech merit list, on the other hand, is the list of candidates actually selected for admission to this specific institution.

The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur admits students on the basis of valid GATE score for its MTech courses. IIEST Shibpur GATE cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 6 for a few MTech specialisations. As per the IIEST Shibpur GATE cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank was ranged between 351 and 427, among which MTech in Structural Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. This is basis the last round closing rank for the General All India category students. Yes, apart from the valid score of SSU CET, students can also get admission to MBA via CAT entrance exam. If students score 70 percentile in CAT, they can get admission to MBA course at Sri University. If they qualify the CAT exam, then they don't need to appear for SSU CET. The final selection through CAT is done based on the performance of candidates in Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

In order to get admission to BTech at SSU, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. After that, they need to qualify for either SSU CET entrance exam which is an in-house exam of Sri University or else they can qualify JEE Main/ OJEE with a valid score. As per the next step, students need to fill an online application form by filing all the appropriate details along with submitting the required documents and paying an application amount of INR 500.

Sri University conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., SSU Common Entrance Test (SSU CET). This exam is particularly conducted by the university to select students for its various UG and PG courses. This exam is conducted annually in an online mode at the university. For admission to various UG and PG courses, it is mandatory to qualify for SSU CET with a valid score. But for courses such as MBA, BTech and BArch, students can also get admission via various state/ national-level entrance exams such as CAT, JEE Main and NATA, respectively.
