CAT is among the entry-level exam, which is madatory  for admission to the MBA programmes like thePost Graduate Diploma in Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (M&E). Howereve, for the remaining programmes like Post Graduate Programme in Empowered Management & Business Administration (PGP EMBA) candidates are provided with other option for admission i.e. MET - MCT + Aptitude Questions and Statement of Purpose – SOP on video (Online Interview only if required) + Academics Performance + Other Parameters.

No, you do not need to apply separately for the UPESMET exam if you have already scored well in the CAT or any other national level MBA entrance exam. As per the latest guidelines of the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Business School, which conducts the UPESMET you are eligible for admission into UPES Business School with other management test scores apart from the UPESMET. The following exam scores are accepted for admission to the MBA courses:
  1. CAT
  2. GMAT
  3. SNAP
  4. MAT
  5. NMAT
  6. XAT
You can take admission to the MBA programme offered by UPES Business  School with any of the above test scores.

Six months will be enough to prepare for OJEE. Candidates will be able to cover the syllabus and also have time to practice sample papers and mocks.

No, OJEE exam will only be conducted in computer-based test mode. Earlier, OJEE was held in two modes computer-based test mode or online and paper-based test mode or offline, but 2019 onwards OJEE exam is being held in online mode only. There is also no provision of offline fee payment either. Candidates must note that OJEE registration is also an online process. The students need to visit the OJEE exam centre in order to take the OJEE exam. According to GCET pattern, the exam will have 225 objective questions. Paper is divided into three sections, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will have 75 questions. For every question, correct option has to be selected.

According to GCET exam pattern, total duration of entrance examination is 6 hours. GCET has three papers, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For each paper, 2 hours will be given.
