In case candidates have paid first instalment of MET admission fee but forgot to pay second instalment before final date, immediately contact authorities. Through authorities, candidates should understand further steps to be taken. Candidates are advised to check MET counselling dates to know when the schedule of fee payment so that they do not miss deadline.

MET admission fee has to be paid to confirm their admission. Fee has to be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking. If candidates cannot pay fee before final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

After allotment, selected candidates have to confirm their admission by paying tuition fee. First instalment is INR 2,40,000 and the second instalment will be as per course selected. Fee has to be paid before final date.

Hello Yuvan, to get admission in any IIT, a student needs to be eligible to appear for JEE advanced as a first stage. At the second stage he needs to score quite well in JEE advanced so that the student gets admission in the desired course.
   After the conclusion of all the sessions planned for a particular year, National Testing Agency, announces the results of JEE mains. Candidates who belong to reserved or special categories will have to submit their category certificates during MET counselling. If they cannot confirm their category, they will not be allowed to take admission as per respective category. Authorities will release list of documents that will be needed for verification.

MET seat allotment result will be announced online at counseling.manipal.edu. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment of MET. Candidates will be able to check the MET seat allotment result by logging in using their application number and OTBS password. Through the seat allotment result, the candidates will be able to check the course and campus that they have been allotted to. The selected candidates will also be informed about the admission confirmation and fee payment process.
