In case candidates are not satisfied with their BITSAT seat allotment, they can choose to let go their seats and remain on wait list. Candidates on wait list can participate in the next round of BITSAT counselling to have a chance of being allotted into their preferred course and campus. In case there are vacant seats, the candidates will have the chance of being allotted into their preferences. Confirmation of admission can be done by verifying the documents and paying the required fee.

Candidature will be canceled if the candidate fails to report at the allotted institute before the final date. Candidates will be able to register for the BITSAT direct admission online at bitsadmission.com. However, the direct admission will be open only for those candidates who are the toppers of their respective board exams. Along with being a board topper, the candidates will also have to meet the basic eligibility criteria of BITSAT. If these criteria are met, the candidates will be able to apply for the direct admissions into the BTech courses offered by the participating campuses of BITS.

BITSAT seat allotment result will be declared online at bitsadmission. Candidates will be able to check their BITSAT seat allotment status by logging in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used to release the seat allotment of BITSAT. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.
