The FBS entrance exam has 50 multiple choice questions in total. There is no negative marking. The paper is divided into 5 sections:

IIIT Hyderabad admission 2023 through JEE Main are closed. A total of five rounds of counselling were conducted by the institute for admission for 100 seats of BTech in CSE programme and 70 seats of BTech in ECE programme. The seats are further divided into two pools. 75% of total seats are assigned to the Common Pool and rest 25% seats are assigned to the Diversity Pool. After the candidates have confirmed their allotted seats and paid the fee during the VITEEE counselling, they will not be allowed to change their branch and campus under any circumstances. The authorities will not entertain any requests for a change of campuses or courses from the candidates. Since the candidates will be given enough time after allotment to make their decision, they are advised to carefully consider their decision. 

The authorities will conduct the VITEEE counselling process online. Therefore, all candidates are required to participate in the VITEEE counselling process for admissions. The authorities will not accept any requests for change in the date/time of the counselling. Once the candidates are allotted, they will have to pay the required fee and report to their allotted campus. In case the candidates are unable to report to their allotted institute before the final date, then their admission will be cancelled.
