Yes, Sharda University has an in-house entrance exam of its own. The university conducts Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) for admission to all of its UG and PG courses. This entrance exam is valid for UG and PG courses from all the streams such as Management, Engineering, Science, etc. It is mandatory to qualify for this entrance along with fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to any of the course. But students who apply with a valid score of some respective national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, ATMA, GATE, JEE, etc., shall be exempted from SUAT. The students who are interested in participating in the spot round can be applied online. The NIFT shortlists the eligible students based on their entrance exam scores. The shortlisted students can choose the course that they are interested in. The seats are allotted based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to get admission to a government college since you have a low JEE score. The EWS rank is quite high but insufficient to get admission to a government college. But still with your current score, you can try applying for NITs, IIITs, and State technical Universities.

For BCA admission at Christ Bangalore, students ae required to write CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Entrance Test conducted by the university. The entrance test is of 120 marks and is inclusive of English, GK, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Maths, Data Analysis & Interpretation and Economics. In addition to this, students must also meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university which is passing Class 12 from a recognised university.

All applicants must demonstrate their command of the English language.  Applicants from English-speaking nations may be excluded from taking the English proficiency test. You may also be exempt if you have completed three years of high school in the United States.

In case of the B. Des and B.FTech programmes, the candidates should be less than 24 years as on July 1 of the admission year. There is relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories. However, there is no age limit for applying to the postgraduate programmes at NIFT. When applying for admission to design courses at the NIFTs, the candidate must also carefully go through the academic requirements. Note that even if a candidate qualifies the NIFT Entrance Exam but doesn't meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he or she will not be considered for admission.
