IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

No. The candidates will not be able to choose their exam centre during the BITSAT slot booking process. The authorities will announce the test centre allotment separately for each session. Candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to check their alloted BTISAT exam centres. The allotment of exam centres will be done as per the preferences submitted in the BITSAT application form. Candidates will be able to selected the preferred exam date and time in their respective exam centres during the slot booking process.

SAT syllabus has definitely reduced and so has the overall duration, but the question of SAT syllabus becoming harder is a hoax. The decision of taking an ACT on back to back dates for some benefit is in the hands of the applicants. If the applicant feels that taking the exam on one date after the other will help him or her score better, then they can try this strategy. However, this is not recommended because one must wait for the exam result of the first attempt and go for another if actually required. Thus, there are both pros and cons of taking ACT on back to back dates.
