In 2025, the closing rank for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering for General -All India category was 49616. With a rank between 25000 and 30000, there is a good chance to get admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Jamia Millia Islamia.

No, the SSC CHSL exam centres once allotted cannot be changed by candidates. The preference of exam centres should be entered carefully while filling out the SSC CHSL application form. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) allots the exam centres on the basis of preferences given by candidates. However, the Commission reserves the right to cancel any CHSL Centre and ask the candidates of that centre to appear from another centre.

Candidates can choose three SSC CHSL exam centres in the order of priority, within the
same region.
Candidates are advised to choose the SSC CHSL exam centres carefully while filling out the application form. The exam centres once selected by candidates in the application form cannot be changed later at any stage.

The list of SSC CHSL exam centres has been released along with the official notification at ssc.gov.in. The SSC CHSL exam is conducted in a total of nine regions- ER, WR, NR, SR, CR, NER, NWR, MPR and KKR. The SSC CHSL exam centres cities list is released region-wise. Candidates need to make selection of exam centres while filling out the online SSC CHSL application form.

Karnataka SSLC exam pattern is not released along with the Karnataka SSLC exam dates. Karnataka SSLC exam time table mentions date, time, subject, duration and maximum marks of each subject. The board publishes blue print of SSLC exam Karnataka PDF on the official website kseab.karnataka.gov.in/. Students are recommended to download and practice the blue print of SSLC Karnataka  subjects. Candidates have to select three core subjects and three languages. The core subjects include Mathematics, Social Science, and Science.

If someone misses the end or mid sem no re exam is taken mostly. In case of mid semester there is not much loss. But if you miss the end semester then you'll fail that subject and will have to give exam of that subject in next semester. If you fail the end semester exams it will be shown on your report card and number of attempts for an exam are also mentioned.
