The CBT of RRB Group D exam comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total marks allotted to CBT are 100. Based on the marks obtained in CBT, candidates are called for PET. The PET is qualifying in nature. Those who qualify the PET are called for document verification. Final empanellment of candidates is done based on the performance in CBT subject to their qualifying the document verification and medical exam. After document verification in RRB Group D exam, candidates are called for a medical test. It is mandatory to clear the medical test to be considered for the recruitment exam. The medical fitness test is conducted by the railway administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post. The near vision should be Sn/ 0.6, 0.6 without glasses and must pass tests for color vision, binocular vision, night vision, mesopic vision, etc. Distant vision should be 6 / 9, 6 / 9 with or without glasses (power of lenses should not exceed 2D).

Yes, there are qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam. The qualifying marks for your and EWS categories are 40 and 30 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 per cent for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them. Besides the cut off marks, candidates are required to secure the qualifying as per their categories to qualify the exam.
