The minimum qualification required to apply for UG programs is to attain pass marks in 10+2 examination in Science / Commerce / Arts from PUC / ISC / CBSE or equivalent board. A course recognized as equivalent thereto by the University. Yes, along with having the required pass marks in 10+2 a student has to clear the JET exam for seeking admission in JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).

It is mandatory to clear the JET exam to qualify. The admission through JET programs is based on merit and rank obtained by students in entrance exam. After clearing written exam there will be face group discussion and Personal Interview round.

JET is conducted in remote prroctored mode, so candidates have to keep in mind the following:

  • Use desktop computers or laptop. Webcam and Microphone are mandatory and must remain switched on during the test.
  • Operating System: For Desktops and Laptops: Windows 7 or above (Windows 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (Ubuntu versions 18.04, 16.04, 15.04 only) systems.
  • Use Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later) as browswer
  • Processor: Core 2 Duo and above.
  • Processor speed: 1.5 GHz and above; RAM: minimum 1 GB.
  • Minimum Internet Speed: should be 2 Mbps.
  • Pop-up blockers on the web browser must be disabled.

No, there is no minimum marks requirement to apply for the Xavier Aptitude Test exam. The candidate needs to have passing marks in graduation or equivalent degree course to be eligible for the Xavier Aptitude Test exam. The graduation degree can be in any mode but from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). However, most of the Xavier Aptitude Test-accepting institutes have minimum score requirements of 50 percent for general category students and 45 percent for Reserved category students. After qualifying JET candidates have to carry the below documents:

  • 10th Marks Sheet
  • 12th Marks Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate from last institution studied (qualifying examination)-Mandatory
  • Migration Certificate (Mandatory)
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Copy of Passport and Visa (if available) for international applicant(s)
  • 5 recent passport and 5 stamp size photographs in formal dress (Standard Indian Passport size)

The JET eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • BTech: Qualified 10+2 exam with 60% aggregate
  • MBA: Qualified in an Undergraduate course with a 50% aggregate marks
  • UG: Qualified 10+2 exam with 60% aggregate
  • PG: UG-qualified candidates

Yes, the JET application forms are available offline also. Candidates can purchase a non-refundable online application coupon from the Admissions Office and redeem the same by entering the specific coupon code in the Online Payment Gateway under the heading 'Coupon Code'.
