The IIHM eCHAT is a unique online proctored Management Aptitude Test. It is a common admission test held for admission to various hotel management courses offered by IIHM eCHAT campuses present in New Delhi, Pune, Goa, Samarkand, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Bangkok. IIHM eCHAT is an objective type of test with multiple-choice answers. NCHMCT JEE is a national-level hospitality entrance exam for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. The NCHMCT JEE exam is held annually and is conducted by National Testing Agency on behalf of the NCHMCT. The 3 years Bachelor of Science in HHA course is offered by National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology jointly with the IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University). The NCHMCT JEE score is accepted by all the participating Institutes for admission to the Bachelor of Science in HHA courses offered by their respective institutions. National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam scores is utilized by the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) for admission. There are about 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM, and 27 Private IHMs that are affiliated with NCHMCT and offer B.Sc. (HHA) courses and the admission is based on National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam. In National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, questions are asked in English and Hindi language. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours or 180 minutes and all questions are of MCQ (Multiple Choice Type). 200 questions are framed from Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector. Semester I: Introduction to Speech and Language Pathology, Introduction to Pathology, Basic Human Anatomy, Physiology, Fluency, and its disorders. Semester II: Basic Acoustics, Basic Electronics, Introduction to Linguists, Psychology-related to Speech, Adult Neuro-communication disorders. Semester III: Psychology-related to Hearing, Clinical Work (Speech Pathology), Clinical Work (Audiology), Childhood Communication Disorders, Neuro-motor Speech Disorders. Semester IV: Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Voice and Laryngectomy, Diagnostic Audiology, Amplification, and Assistive Devices for the hearing impaired, Rehabilitative Audiology. Semester V: Amplification for the hearing impaired, Educational Audiology, Otorhinolaryngology, Community Oriented Professional Practices in Speech-Language Pathology, Noise Measurement, and Hearing Conservation.
