Paper 1 is meant for B.Tech and BE and giving Paper 1 is mandatory that not paper 2, as paper 2 is for B.Arch.

Paper 1 is for BE and B.Tech and Paper 2 is meant for Architecture graduate. So, either one is good or not giving paper 2 is a small thing, it simply means no B.Arch, if you are not interested in.

You can apply for the exams of Armed forces like NDA TES Entry for Army and Navy, IAF Group X and Y, Indian Navy AA and SSR and army recruitments.
