No, for admission to the Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai PGXPM course, students are not required to take any entrance exam. The admissions are completely merit-based. However, it is required that they fulfill the eligibility requirements. The allocation of seats depends on students academic background, performance in PI, and quality of work experience.

Once the GLIM Chennai application portal is closed, the admission committee begins with the selection process. In the first step, all the applications are screened, and students with good academic backgrounds are shortlisted. In the next step, the institute conducts a personal interview process. Those who are allocated a seat via this process must pay the admission fees.
