No, as per official sources, the Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University (PUMBA) does not offer admission via management quota to any of its courses, including EMBA. The admissions to the Executive MBA course at PUMBA are strictly entrance-based. Candidates aspiring to take admission must register and appear for the SPPU entrance test. PUMBA Executive MBA admission process starts with registration for the SPPU exam. It is an entrance test conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University for admission of students to the EMBA course. Once applied for the exam, they must also submit an application form for the programme. The students are required to submit basic details such as name, phone number, address, education qualification, etc.

Yes, students enrolled in the PUMBA EMBA programme are required to submit a dissertation. It is one of the key features of the programme's curriculum that it includes extensive research work. During the last year of the coursework, all students are required to submit a dissertation. The topic of the project work can be of student's choice but it should be approved by the faculty guide.

Once PUMBA closes the application portal, the admission committee conducts the SPPU exam. Candidates who have successfully registered for the programme must appear for the exam. This test is conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University and is of 200 marks. Once the test is done, the institute allocated Executive MBA seats based on the candidate's performance in the exam.
