Yes, we can say that School of Engineering and Technology as good as Presidency University, Bangalore but it depends on the institute/college you choose. In India several Engineering colleges run by 'School of Engineering and Technology' in which some colleges are Average and Some are excellent,   they have good placement rate, excellent faculty & infrastructure and high salary package, even they are not that much expensive as Presidency University,   Bangalore. So, Yes ! There are many colleges under 'School of Engineering and Technology' which is good as Presidency University, Bangalore •

Assuming, you are talking about B.Tech in Public colleges, Presidency is more expensive and has a fee struture in the range of INR 2LPA - INR 4 LPA while in general, SETs are more likely to be in the range of INR 30,000 - INR 1 Lakhs per annum.
