The classification of engineering colleges into Tier-1 or Tier-2 has always depended on some yardsticks such as academic performance, faculty qualifications, infrastructural facilities, placement records, and industry links.

 The D. Y. Patil Technical Campus, Faculty of Engineering, Talsande, is officially accepted as a Tier 2 institute.

To get into D.Y. Patil Technical Campus - Talsande for an MBA, you'll need a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% score. You must qualify in a national or state-level entrance exam like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, MAH CET, or DPU AIET.

For admission into engineering programs, offered by the institute needs to meet the following criteria-

  • For branches such as CSE, Bio-Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Semiconductor, etc. the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in respective subjects, required for that particular branch.
  • Students with good scores in the MH-CET, JEE, PERA CET, CUET, and DYPIU Entrance Test, are considered for admission.
