Different colleges and universities have different eligibility criteria for admission to MCA course. Nevertheless, the eligibility criteria on the basis of which admission is done in most places of India are as follows :
To get admission in MCA course, the student must be a graduate with 50% marks. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved castes. It is mandatory for the student to have Mathematics as a subject in 12th or graduation. BCA / B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com or any other stream like these will work in graduation but BCA graduate may be given more importance at the time of admission in some colleges. Hope it helps.
