Well, talking of education on Food Technology or Food Sciences abroad, the scope is great in both management and research sector. It is a widely applauded option and USA is the most claimed country with its scope. I think it will be a much better option abroad than in India. Go to websites of Texas A&M, Georgia Tech. and others to know about it in detail.

Food technology being a matured branch in India where a startup would be the right idea in my opinion. Or else one can work in a food processing company at the outset and learn all design and operational aspects. Placement-wise, ICT is very popular.

Scope depends much on the persons interest and desire to be the best. If you love something, you will naturally grow your knowledge and skill in the field hence forming your so called scope.
So, do what you are passionate about and not worry about what the scope would be.

Hi Mrunal
India or globally, all three are required in their respective sectors. The only need is to understand, where you make the best fit and will be able to utilize your skills and abilities after 4 -6 years. Industry pundits do predict the jobs in demand in future but you cant be sure of it until you are the best. So based on the current trend, food technology first, chemical engg second and production third is what I suggest.
