In terms of infrastructure, KJSIMSR does better than FORE, while the latter appears to be a better option for freshers. In terms of placements, the average placement is quite similar for the two, but KJ Somaiya is the best bet in terms of ROI. K J Somaiya Institute of Management is an autonomous college located in Mumbai. It is one of the top-rated business schools in India. It runs the following courses which take admission through CAT XAT CMAT. Post Graduate Diploma in Management Post Graduate Diploma in Management - International Business Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Retail Management Post Graduate Diploma in Management - F

It would be helpful if you can mention the name of the college you are referring to for PGDM or PGDM IB admission. Different colleges have different cutoff scores for admission based on various parameters such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the selection process.
However, I can give you an idea of the general cutoff scores for CAT and XAT for admission to top management colleges in India.
For admission to Tier-1 management colleges such as IIMs, the cutoff score for CAT is usually above 95 percentile. For admission to Tier-2 management colleges such as SPJIMR, XLRI, and MDI, the cutoff score for XAT is

Yes you can apply for MBA if you are from Science background but it will be tough for you in the starting stages. So if you are ready to face the difficulty you can opt of MBA. If it's E-MBA it will be more difficult because there will be no expertise in online course.

FSM organizes international immersion programmes (IIP) annually for all its full-time students at one of our international partner institutions. The IIP is spread over one-full-week, wherein the students attend half-credit courses of their choice, visit industrial/corporate locations and sites of historical importance. International Immersion Programme (IIP) is a complementary component of the PGDM/PGDM-IB/PGDM-FM/PGDM-BDA programs. It is subject to the safe international travel and other conducive conditions and the Institute reserves its right to cancel or change the IIP location as it deems right.

There is no difference between these two. They are the same thing. PGDM is a diploma degree and it offers specialization in different fields like Marketing, Finance, HR, Operation, and Analytics. PGDM in finance usually offers better placements after the course completion but I would suggest opting for the course which you're interested in. If you've talented enough and willing to do hard work then you can ace any specialization.
