Most forensic Science colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai like DY Patil Deemed to be University, mention on their official sites that the PCB combination is necessary, at least for the BSc programmes. But, this may not always apply to Diploma programmes in forensic Science that are offered by St Xavier's College

The fees for forensic Science education will depend. It differs for diploma, UG, and PG courses. For BSc from a premier government college like Institute of Forensic Science, it will cost around INR 2400. It has fewer seats, however. From a private institute like DY Patil University in Navi Mumbai, the fee for a BSc in Forensic Science, it will be INR 16.5 Lakh. If planning on Diploma in forensic Science subjects, you can check St. Xavier's College, which costs between ~ INR 15,500 and INR 27,500, depending on the duration.
