With an SC category rank of ninety-three thousand six hundred forty-seven in JEE Mains, securing admission into an NIT, IIEST, or any of the GFTIs will be extremely challenging. These institutions are highly sought-after, and their cut-offs for the SC category are significantly lower, often falling within the top ten to fifteen thousand ranks for most branches. While your General category rank of over ten Lacs further confirms the difficulty, your SC rank is the key factor. For this rank, your best option would be to explore state-level engineering colleges and private universities where admission criteria might be more flexible.

No, you can not get into CSE/IT/ENTC in NIT/IIIT or GIFT with a CRL of 273071 and an OBC rank of 95501 in JEE Mains. You can check for other private colleges and state engineering colleges with other means.

With a 78.266 percentile in JEE Mains and belonging to the OBC category, I understand you're hoping for a seat in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs. To be honest, at this percentile, the chances for NITs and IIITs are quite slim - even with the OBC reservations. The competition is really tough, and most of these institutes have much higher cutoffs, even for reserved categories.

That said, don't lose hope! Sometimes, a few distant or lesser-known GFTIs might have lower cutoffs, so it's worth checking last year's opening and closing ranks on the official JoSAA webiste. If you do find a possible option, make sure to look carefully at the branch and ca
