The School of Petroleum Technology (SPT) is one of the four schools of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University and was started in 2007. The School offers B.Tech, M.Tech., & Ph.D programs to the students. The School organizes expert lectures, conclaves, seminars and workshops and also undertakes projects in collaboration with industry that help in the overall development of students as well as faculty members. This prepares the students for the industry expectations. The School aims to place its students and facilitates higher studies. SPT has good industry contacts and links. Students undergo unique courses like Rural Internship, Industrial Orientation and Industrial training during the four-year undergraduate course.
