At Gandhinagar University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) allows candidates to specialise in a particular subject. In contrast, a regular BA course does not offer specialisation.

Regular BA and BA (Hons.) programme offered at GU are either offered in three and four-years. For instance, BA (three-year) and BA Hons. (four-year). The BA (Hons.) programme provides in-depth knowledge in subjects offered at GU such as Hindi, English, Political Science, Psychology, Gujarati.
