No, you cannot join Gandhinagar University without an entrance exam if you want admission to the BTech courses offered by the university. Students who belong to the HS quota category can attempt the GUJCET entrance examination provided they clear the basic eligibility rules before applying.
Candidates who appeared for the exam also have to appear in the counselling and subsequent seat allotment process to avail enrollment at this university. The maximum rank overall to get admission at Gandhinagar University's BTech course was 50584. This is the cutoff for the General HS quota. Other categories will have a different the highest cutoff. To know the same, see the list below:

Gandhinagar University GUJCET cutoff 2025 was released for various BTech branches for multiple Home State quota categories. For the General HS category, the overall cutoff ranged from 17457 to 50584. As per the last round, the most competitive branch for admission was B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, and the least competitive was B.Tech. in Computer Engineering.
